How AIMS handles personal information.
Asian Institute of Management Sciences uses personal information to respond to scholarship enquiries, assess candidates, administer awards, process approved payments, monitor academic progress, verify sponsorship, manage complaints, prevent fraud, maintain security, and meet legal or institutional responsibilities.
Data categories
Data categories may include:
- identity and contact information;
- education and research records;
- admission and enrolment information;
- financial-need or funding information where relevant;
- award and payment records;
- progress reports and correspondence;
- spouse information only where an award includes spouse-related support;
- technical, security, consent, and audit data.
Sharing
AIMS may share necessary information with the scholar, approved host institution, payment or insurance service providers, professional advisers, technology providers, or a competent authority where there is a valid administrative or legal reason. Detailed information is not released through the public verification page.
Retention and access
AIMS retains records for as long as needed to manage the award, verify historical commitments, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet applicable record-keeping duties. Access is restricted by role.

A person may contact to request information, correction, or review of the way personal data are handled.
